Interesting Posts and Articles #361

1) Via Shirat Devorah, an LA Times article, "A Zone of Privacy in the Sheitel".

2) Via Daat Torah, this quote from Rav Hutner:
I was also told that Rav Hutner said - in Sedom there was bed that guests were invited to use. However if the guest was too short he was stretched to fit the bed and if he was too long is feet were chopped off. We have a similar process called yeshiva education - but if the child doesn't fit we don't chop off the feet - we chop off the head.
3) At the Atlantic: Leaked Docs From Heartland Institute Cause a Stir—but Is One a Fake? A detailed and convincing discussion. See what Little Green Footballs has to say.

4) From Vos Iz Neias: "Monsey Eatery Offers Discount For Learning While Dining". A nice idea. Though the Aruch HaShulchan might have been against it... Well, it depends if they are already eating, or if they learn before or after the meal.

5) PaleoJudaica links to, and discusses, a book review in the Forward, of Rabbi Shmuley Boteach's book, Kosher Jesus.

6) The Jewish Worker posts Yated's Pesach ad disclaimer.
